How often does Mom’s Best® Naturals have coupons available?

While we offer coupons periodically on our websites and through emails, offers are not unlimited and only available while supplies last. Its one of the ways we keep our everyday cereal prices lower than our larger competitors. We suggest you sign up to receive our emails through CerealCentral.com or check the special offer pages of your favorite Malt-O-Meal® brand to be notified when coupons are available to be downloaded.

Where can I purchase Mom’s Best Naturals cereals in my community?

Mom’s Best Naturals cereals can be found in grocery and drug stores. If you do not see our products on your grocer’s shelves, please ask the store manager so they can order and stock them for you and other consumers.

What is your statement on all-natural labeling?

At MOM Brands, we use the word “natural” to let our customers know that our naturals brands do not contain artificial colors, preservatives, flavors, high fructose corn syrup or hydrogenated oils. We carefully and closely adhere to the guidelines and regulations set forth by the FTC on food labeling and encourage and welcome our consumers to learn more about the food they eat in order to make the choices that work best for their family.

Unlike many other manufacturers of cereals labeled as “natural”, we do not charge a premium price for our cereals. Our prices reflect the cost of the ingredients we use to make our products, and we pass that savings on to our consumers. Certified organic and non-GMO ingredients are quite a bit more expensive than conventional ingredients. Today, food insecurity is a fact of life for one out of every five families with children. We believe we can best serve the needs of more families in this country by providing safe, high-quality cereals at affordable prices.

We’re honest and forthright about our brand’s attributes and have strived to create products that balance great taste, quality ingredients and affordability.

What is the best way to store Mom’s Best Naturals cereal products?

We recommend that you keep Mom’s Best Naturals cereals in a cool, dry place.

Is it safe to eat your cereal when it has passed its ‘Best if Used By’ date?

Yes, it is safe, but since the flavor will change as the product ages, we recommend that you purchase a new package.

Are your cereal products Kosher certified?

Most Mom’s Best Naturals cereal products are Kosher certified. If the product you are interested in is Kosher certified, its packaging will reflect its certification status and category. Kosher certifications may change over time, so the best way to determine a product’s Kosher status is to look at the front of the package. Mom’s Best Naturals product packages will always reflect the most current information.

Do you have any gluten free ready-to-eat products?

Currently, Mom’s Best Naturals does not produce any gluten free ready-to-eat cereals. We remind consumers to read the ingredient statement each time they purchase a product to ensure no changes have occurred.

Are your quick and old fashioned oatmeal products gluten free?

Because oats are grown, stored, and transported in bulk, they may contain trace amounts of wheat, rye and barley. USDA grain standards allow a certain percentage of other grains to be present in the oats. Therefore, gluten may be found in oats, even if very small amounts if these other grains are present.

What is the source of the gelatin in your products?

The gelatin we use in our products is derived from pork. Gelatin is found in the marshmallows in our Mallow Oats cereal and the icing in our Sweetened Wheat-fuls cereal.

Do your products contain any genetically modified ingredients?

Here at Mom’s Best Naturals, we use the word natural to let our customers know that our cereals don’t contain artificial colors, preservatives or flavors. Our cereals also do not contain high fructose corn syrup, trans fat or hydrogenated oils. It’s possible that our cereals contain genetically engineered derivatives. We assure you that we comply with all FDA requirements for labeling and claims. We’re also continually searching and reviewing ingredients that allow us to give families a better breakfast option while keeping our product prices affordable.

What is your allergen labeling policy?

We understand and share the concerns expressed by consumers who are affected by food allergies.

Food Allergic consumers should rely on our package ingredient labels for the most accurate information on a product. If a product contains any of the FDA major eight allergens (egg, milk, peanut, tree nut, fish, shellfish, soy, and wheat) it will be clearly listed in bold print in the ingredient declaration on the Nutrition Facts Panel.

If we do make a product that contains any of these eight major allergens, all products made on the same production line would contain the same allergen or a full allergen tested and validated cleaning process would be performed between production runs.

Mom’s Best Naturals products are labeled as being “all natural.” What does that mean?

In regards to the specific ingredients used in our products, we are committed to the following:

• No partially hydrogenated or palm oil
• No high fructose corn syrup
• No artificial preservatives, colors or flavors
• High quality ingredients

Do Mom’s Best Naturals products contain MSG?

Mom’s Best Naturals products are all natural, and by definition, all natural products cannot contain preservatives. As a result, we do not use any artificial ingredients or preservatives, including MSG.
